If you are interested in joining the British Columbia Motion Picture Industry as a Driver, Security, Catering, Animal Handler/Trainer/Wrangler, Automotive, Marine Personnel, or Miscellaneous Personnel, please review the information and divisional requirements below.
WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ONLINE
- A valid copy of all required certificates and licenses must be submitted with your application in .pdf or .doc format only. Links to acquire (if applicable) select certificates can be found at the bottom of this page.
- The timeline for application review is contingent on the needs of productions.
- You will only be contacted by our office if your application has been approved.
- If your application is approved, a signed copy of the following: Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Waiver, Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Code of Conduct, Consent to Electronic Communications, Consent to Disclose Personal Information, and Acknowledgement will be required.
- Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
Driver
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Drivers Licence. Acceptable licences are:
- Class 3 and 4 unrestricted or, (Reserve)
- Class 3 and 2 unrestricted or, (Reserve)
- Class 1 unrestricted (Permittee)
- Current National Safety Code (N.S.C) Drivers Abstract (will be evaluated to determine if an applicant’s driving record is acceptable)
- Resume/Work History
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Teamsters Local 155 Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
Security
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence
- BC Security Licence
- Resume/Work History
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
Catering
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Resume/Work History demonstrating a minimum of 3 years recent cooking experience
- Food Safe Level 1 and 2
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
Animal Handlers , Trainers & Wranglers
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Resume/Work History
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
Marine
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Resume/Work History
- Certifications related to employment requirements and responsibilities:
- Boat Operator – SVOP, VHF Radio, and SDV-BS (MED A3) Certification and/or;
- Safety Diver – WCB Recognized Commercial Dive Ticket and valid O2 Medical
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 certificate
- Teamsters 155 Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
Automotive
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Resume/Work History
- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
- Applicable Provincial Tradesman Qualification Certificate
Miscellaneous
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Complete Application Form
- BC or Yukon Class 5 Drivers Licence

- WHMIS 2015 certificate
- Motion Picture Safety Awareness certificate
MOTION PICTURE SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE:
This certificate is a requirement for ALL divisions.
Register and complete this free 5-hour course.
